Adoption Donation:
Although donations are not required, we ask that a donation be made to the RGVGRC Rescue fund at the time of adoption. These donations help the club meet boarding and veterinary expenses incurred by our non-profit organization, as well as those of the families who foster the Goldens.

We NEVER have puppies available.

The RGVGRC Rescue volunteers rescue golden retrievers from shelters all over New Mexico and beyond, and from owners who can no longer keep them. If you need to find a new home for your golden, please contact us by leaving a message for Gin Chappelle, (505) 821-1555, ginchappell@aol.com. Please note that when you surrender your golden to RGVGRC Rescue, you relinquish ownership and all rights to the dog. We require that you sign a owner release, and that you disclose any medical problems and/or behavior problems that your golden has had.

The more information you can give us about your golden, the better job we can do in placing him/her in an appropriate new home. We ask that you write a few paragraphs about your golden, so that we can help the new family make him/her feel secure and welcome.
